Gulf Sea Grant Programs Release Gulf Research Survey

The four Gulf of Mexico Sea Grant college programs have released the 2013 Gulf of Mexico research needs survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013GMRP).

The survey will be used to update the Gulf of Mexico Research Plan and will be shared with numerous groups that are funding or supporting regional research and restoration activities. These groups include the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI), NOAA Restore Act Science Program, National Academy of Science’s Gulf of Mexico Program, Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council and Gulf of Mexico Alliance.

The NOAA RESTORE Science Program has reviewed the current Gulf of Mexico Research Plan and will be considering the results of this survey when further refining the direction of the Program.

It takes less than 15 minutes to complete the survey which closes on Dec. 13.
